It got me again!
I don't know what is going on around here but I feel like I have been sick since Christmas! I started with a slight fever on Tuesday, along with body aches & a sinus headache that wouldn't quit. It just kept getting progressively worse & worse as the week drew on. Here it is Friday, and although I feel somewhat better, I'm still in misery. (Thank goodness we had a snow day today so I could get some extra rest). Something needs to be done. What could be causing all this sickness? As soon as I am feeling better I am marching myself right into the health store. I have got to get loaded up with some immune system boosting "stuff". I can't take it anymore! Could it be that I'm working at the high school now and I also take the students to a local nursing home for a job study program every morning that's causing all this? SCHOOL GERMS + NURSING HOME GERMS = ONE VERY SICK ME? Believe me when I say I am a diligent hand washer, like crazy even, but it doesn't seem to matter. I hate to be a complainer and have such a down post, but being sick is really get old at this point!
girl... you know you'd get me with this post! just one question... have you had your thyroid checked lately? that's where it ALL started with me... just a thought. hugs to you and feel better.. and jump on the WW wagon with me. i tell you in almost one month - i feel TONS better and there's even less of me to feel! almost 10lbs less!
ReplyDeleteaw no, hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya girl! Being sick steal the days from ya! I truly hope you get better soon. Try some Emergen-C (you should be able to get it at the grocery store). I drink like 3 of those a day when I feel sickness coming on, it subsides it. Good stuff!!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon!!
Oh I hope you are feeling better soon. We have had a very rough winter here too. Lots of nastiness going around our house. It seems like we just keep passing it back and forth and I have cloroxed every surface that I can possibly think of!! (((HUGS))) for a speedy recovery.
