I've always been into checkerboard flooring. I've rarely seen an image of it that I didn't like. The weird thing is that I've seen it everywhere from very contemporary settings with sleek and modern kitchen cabinets to country cottage spaces, and yet it always looks great. That being said, I don't know that I could ever actually have it in my home, even though I do love it. I guess I'm just a chicken that way. Bawk.

Awesome floors, I loved the yellow one!
ReplyDeleteI actually thought of putting that in our kitchen but my hubby thought I would get tired of it and I think he's right. It's cool though, especially the red and white. I can't wait to see your pics. Check Pier 1 for curtains.

I'm a pink girl, but I am liking the yellow, it's different!
ReplyDeleteWe had the black and white tile checkerd floors in our previous homes master bath. I thought they looked great with the claw foot tub and beadboard.
