...I was surfing the web, trying to find pretty photos of painted tables. You see my kitchen table, after 11 years, is beginning to show its age & I know that I,for one, don't like to show my age, so I'm quite sure my kitchen table feels the same.
As I searched, I found that I became sidetracked by different photos. What kind of photos you ask? Why those containing rooms decorated in blue & green, of course!
I never realized what a pretty color palette they created until tonight. Here's a look:

Blue & green has completely enchanted me. Inquiring minds want to know...how do you feel about it? Any thoughts?
Oh and one last thing...guess what? I'm being featured over at Debbiedoos today! I'm very excited because I'm crazy about Debbie. She has such personality and keeps it real. Gotta love that, you know? Check it out here. I'm trying to contain my excitement but I really want to jump up & down in my seat! LOL
If you are visiting from Debbie's, I welcome you! I hope you enjoy your visit & that we become fast friends. Hope you have a wonderful sun-shine filled weekend!

ReplyDeleteHi Gina- I popped over from Debbie DooDoo's too! She's something else, that girl!! I had blue and green back in the 70's~but we won't talk about how old that makes me!;>) It kind of lost favor for many years and now I see it is coming back. I think next will be navy blue and pink (from the 80's). You havew a very sweet blog and I am signing up to follow! ...you may be ssorry about that sometime in the future!
ReplyDeleteI'm stopping by from Debbie Doo's too. I'm a recent fan of blue and green too, but be something in the air! Have a great weekend!

Hi Gina! Miss Debbie told me to come and I of course obeyed! :-) Your blog is just lovely and I am so enjoying peeking around to "get to know you" better. Your inspiration photos in this post were just fabulous and made me think of summertime which I am seriously longing for these days! Pop over and say 'hi' sometime if you get a chance. :-)
ReplyDeleteVanessa
found your blog through debbiedoo's post. i had never been a big blue fan until lately. green has always been a fave of mine. i'm in the process of redecorating and am using blue and green (with chocolate brown and yellow accents). i love the feel of them. they're very lively and organic. you can't go wrong with the colors God chose for the land and the sky. if you've got time to drop by "my place" you're more than welcome! now following you.
ReplyDeleteHi Gina! Here from DebbieDoos (don't you love her?) You have a great place here. Think I'll put my feet up and stay a while.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being featured!!! Debbie is the best:)
ReplyDeleteYour inspiration photo's are so pretty. I always remember the saying blue and green must not be seen except in the washing machine. But I guess that's not true cuz it looks great together in those pics!
Your feature was *awesome* Congrats!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI like blue and green, and these images are lovely. The photo with the distressed blue chest and pears painting is my very favorite!
