A funny thing happened on the way to the forum...

...I was surfing the web, trying to find pretty photos of painted tables. You see my kitchen table, after 11 years, is beginning to show its age & I know that I,for one, don't like to show my age, so I'm quite sure my kitchen table feels the same.

As I searched, I found that I became sidetracked by different photos. What kind of photos you ask? Why those containing rooms decorated in blue & green, of course!

I never realized what a pretty color palette they created until tonight. Here's a look:

(All Photos BHG, My Home Ideas, Country Living)

Blue & green has completely enchanted me. Inquiring minds want to know...how do you feel about it? Any thoughts?

Oh and one last thing...guess what? I'm being featured over at Debbiedoos today! I'm very excited because I'm crazy about Debbie. She has such personality and keeps it real. Gotta love that, you know? Check it out here. I'm trying to contain my excitement but I really want to jump up & down in my seat! LOL

If you are visiting from Debbie's, I welcome you! I hope you enjoy your visit & that we become fast friends. Hope you have a wonderful sun-shine filled weekend!

  8. Hi Gina- I popped over from Debbie DooDoo's too! She's something else, that girl!! I had blue and green back in the 70's~but we won't talk about how old that makes me!;>) It kind of lost favor for many years and now I see it is coming back. I think next will be navy blue and pink (from the 80's). You havew a very sweet blog and I am signing up to follow! ...you may be ssorry about that sometime in the future!

  15. found your blog through debbiedoo's post. i had never been a big blue fan until lately. green has always been a fave of mine. i'm in the process of redecorating and am using blue and green (with chocolate brown and yellow accents). i love the feel of them. they're very lively and organic. you can't go wrong with the colors God chose for the land and the sky. if you've got time to drop by "my place" you're more than welcome! now following you.

  17. Congratulations on being featured!!! Debbie is the best:)

Your inspiration photo's are so pretty. I always remember the saying blue and green must not be seen except in the washing machine. But I guess that's not true cuz it looks great together in those pics!
