Spring cleaning is underway at our house. Why is Spring cleaning a neverending process? I feel like I've been at it for months, toiling away, seemingly getting nowhere in a fast car. Windows...floors...ceilings...curtains...walls...up the stairs...down the stairs...up the ladder...down the ladder. When will the insanity end?
Sorry for the rant. :}
As I've been Spring cleaning, I've been rearranging & I came up with something new for my coffee table. I bought this bunny at Kirlands the day before Easter. I love him because I once had a similar bunny that I adored & one day, his ears mysteriously fell off.
No one would admit to the offense. All had no idea what could have possibly happened to that bunny, all the while sporting looks of that cat, you know the one...the cat that swallowed the canary. To this day I think it odd that the ears showed signs of having been glued in the past. Hmmmm...is that The Brady Bunch I hear?
MOM ALWAYS SAID, DON'T PLAY BALL IN THE HOUSE.
My poor unsuspecting bunny, maimed by a ball. They'll never admit to it, mind you, but I know.
Ranting again...sorry.
My question is...what do you think? Does it seem weird to decorate with a bunny after Easter?
I'm linking this over at Marty's blog, A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday.
Thanks for stopping by today friends and don't forget to enter my Cottage Charm giveaway here.
Not at all weird..people decorate with birds, squirrels, why not rabbits? it looks cute. I hear ya on the cleaning, and I love to clean, but heck I am over it!
ReplyDeleteLOL Of course not! Bunnies are cute at any time! Your vignette looks so cute! I've had a few of those accidents happen in my house and no one was around - just happened mysteriously! :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
shelia ;)
No, it's not weird at all! And he's too cute to get put away just cuz it's not Easter anymore. I have some ceramic bunnies out on my deck that I leave out year round:)
ReplyDeleteGina Mr. Bunny is so cute and he looks perfect on your coffee table!! Things mysteriously happen in my house too and the answer I get all the time is I don't know!! Have a great week, Martina
ReplyDeleteBunnies are appropriate all year round......that is according to Cleo, who is an avid collector of all things bunny!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, those accidents that happened so long ago, and still no one will own up to them!!! Like when one evening I discovered there was no glass in a framed painting on the family room wall.....it could have been like that for months and I never noticed.....of course, no one knew nothing.......I think it was a soccer ball, and then they cleaned up the evidence very neatly.......hugs...cleo
I love it....sort of original and hey why play inside the box when it is so much more fun to be outside of the box..break the "rules" if there are any!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's weird Gina...Bunnies are cute decor all year around. Your coffee table looks beautiful. Have a wonderful day my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteHugs and Kisses,
♥Ana
Love your bunny and I think he should stay out all year. Beautiful vignette. Your coffee table looks fabulous. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and am your newest follower! I loved your rant and your table-scape looks beautiful. Thanks for creating such a fab blog.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same thing! I googled the topic and found your blog! I'm so glad to hear that others decorate with bunnies after Easter. It's still Spring so I think it looks great! Love your bunny!
ReplyDeleteGina,
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud while reading this post. I collect porcelain antique rabbits and one day discovered my favorite was sporting several cracks (evidence of being glued). Seems there must be an epidemic going around that causes our rabbits/bunnies to fall apart! No, there is nothing wrong with displaying your sweet bunny after Easter.
