I saw these adorable shelf edgers on someone's blog. (I'm not sure who...maybe Elaine at Sunny Simple Life?) Anyway, I loved them from the moment I saw them.
I tried to resist, but after a few months they entered my conciousness. I did not hesitate to order them this time.
My cabinets went from this: (sorry I forgot to take a current before picture, this one is from last year)
to this: (sorry about the glare)
What do you think?
I actually giggled when I received them in the mail. I work at school & these are really just the border edgers the teachers use on their classroom walls & cork boards. Why have I never imagine their potential for perking up shelves?

Hi Gina! I love what you did with the shelf edging. What a wonderful pop of color! Do you just smile when you walk in and see it every morning? I'm pretty sure I would. Who am I kidding? I would LOVE it every morning!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute. Love how they completely changed the look.
ReplyDeleteLove it. you could also make these out of scrapbook paper to coordinate with the seasons (if you were so inclined).
ReplyDeleteOne of those special edging scissors works well or just take a cup edge and trace around it for a scallop effect. Then cut out around the traced lines. Very pretty in your kitchen! I love the red polka dot print.
I like 'em! They cutesify the shelves.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. I love red and white cottage kitchens too! The polka dots look amazing and add just the right touch.
ReplyDelete:) Michelle
Very cute idea, Gina. I might do this on my Welsh Cupboard! You have been busy lately! I love the necklace holder, and I am drooling over the PB cup cookies. :D
