Just thought I would share a collage of some of the pretty flowers that have bloomed in our yard this summer.
Everything has really flourished this year, especially my hydrangeas. I have never had so many blooms on that bush in all the 11 years I've owned it.
Today, my daughter & I are going to spend the day shopping. Just we two girls. We're both looking forward to it. I can't help but wonder how many more years before she no longer looks forward to shopping with her mother.
You know what?
I don't want to even think about it. I'll just cherish the moment now.
A pleasant weekend to all..and if you are in the path of Hurricane Irene...I pray that you will be safe.
Yes cherish the moment. Although, I think Mother and daughters always love to shop together. I know I still love to shop with my Mom...we are pros together LOL. Pretty flowers Gina, you had a great garden this year. Enjoy the day.
ReplyDeleteWow! So colorful, and beautiful! I really need to find some color and beauty in this dry desert. Sounds like a photo challenge to me! lol
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is 28 and still loves to shop with me...as long as I bring the credit card. They will shop with you as long as you are the one buying! Have fun.
ReplyDeleteYour hydrangeas are beautiful...one of my all time favs. I actually have one waiting to be planted,,,it is a different variety than yours though, but apparently you can grow this one on the prairies. Will give it a try. Gorgeous flowers Gina. :)
ReplyDeleteThey grow up sooo fast. I'm lucky my 16 going on 17 year old daughter still likes to spend time with me. She even lets me hug her and kiss her in public. Awesome. Hope that never changes...It could happen :-)Glad you and your daughter were able to spend some girl time together. Beautiful mosaic. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHugs and Kisses,
♥Ana
