Our weather has been absolutely all over the place lately.
Last Monday, we had a few inches of snow.
By Tuesday night, we had temps in the negative numbers.
Wednesday, showed us a high of 5 degrees.
Saturday, we had a high of 47 degrees. 47 degrees. In January. In Central New York.
This Winter is becoming one of the craziest ever!
All that weather talk aside, it is indeed Winter and time for me to share my Winter mantel with you.
I tried to keep it fairly simple, although simple is not always best for this large mantel.
I was so excited to have recently learned how to make paper snowflakes that weren't rectangular in shape, I had to play around and make that banner.
No matter what the weather, I hope you have a warm (& cozy) day!

ReplyDeleteI think we're having wacky weather all around, it's been like summer then suddenly decided to drop into the low 70's (I know I know, that's not that cold!). Today we had tons of wind but I'm still waiting on some rain!

ReplyDeleteWould love you to link up to my Winter Mantle party on Wednesday. Come on over.
Pretty mantel. Our weather is crazy, too. Near 70 today and then lots of rain and Friday it is supposed to be in the low 40's. Up and down and then all over again. BTW, I got the ramsign a couple of weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteI think the weather has been crazy everwhere...Some days it's super duper cold (for us Californians) and others it's in the 80's...I never know how to dress anymore. Anyway, your winter mantel looks very sweet and wintery. This year I gave making paper snowflakes a try and I had so much fun. Don't know if you remember but I put them on my living room windows. I guess I could have left them up until Spring. And it made me feel sad when we took them down along with the rest of the Christmas decor. Man, I should have left them up a little long. Love your pretty blue banner and all the sweet little snowflakes.Your mantel looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMucho love,
Ana
That is lovely. Coming to you from Sydney Australia, where Summer is about 7 weeks late but has finally arrived. Thanks for visiting me. I am following you now and would love it if you would do the same.
ReplyDeleteCarolyn xx
Oh, I absolutely love it! Really pretty! Gina, we have had the same weather issues, -25 one day and -8 the next. Up and down. Makes it hard to keep a good outdoor rink.
ReplyDeleteI know, our weather is crazy and no snow, although we need it in the mountains but if it stays off the valley floors that is just fine by me. I love your mantel and your photos look straight out of a magazine. Your lighting is so great. It is so pretty and fresh. Enjoy! And enjoy the great weather.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! Very well done! Enjoy the wonderful day, Kellie xx
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful, Gina! You cut all those snowflakes out? Time for you to post a tutorial! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhere in central NY do you live? I grew up in Poughkeepsie.
Your wintery snowflake mantel looks so sweet and pretty, Gina! I've been opening our windows here in CA since it has been so nice and warm!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

Gorgeous mantle, Gina! Our weather has been more spring-like than January (in northern Ohio!!) I'll take it, though! We'll probably make up for it in February and March! Hugs, Cindy
