School is officially out for Summer! To say that my children & I are ready to
dance in the streets, scream from the mountaintops, and
just run amok in general is a huge understatement!
Kathleen at Cuisine Kathleen came up with a beach theme
for her Let's Dish party this week.
Her timing couldn't be any better.
After all, it's been 95 degrees and crazy humid for the past 2 days.
A beach trip sounds great right about now.
(well at least the water part does)
I give you my themed tablescape:
Placemats from Home Goods
Aqua dinner plates from TJ Maxx
My everyday Corelle white luncheon plates
Shell plates from CTS
I found these napkin rings at TJ Maxx late last Summer.
They were on clearance, 4 for $1.50!
Bubble glasses from CTS
Aqua polka dotted flatware from Home Goods
Beige flatware from CTS
I added several items to my Waverly tablerunner for a
centerpiece display.
The bowl in the center came from CTS.
All items here are from Michaels.
The blue glittered starfish was an Etsy
purchase a few years back.
If you read my blog from time to time, you often see that
I have unexpected guests...
Yeah, those pesky wrestlers showed up just as I was ready
to start taking photos!

I love this tablescape! I'm trying to beacu-up my house, and I love your stuff! Can I have it?
ReplyDeleteAnd the wrestlers are sneaky. I'm always shoving kid stuff just out of my shots!
I meant beach-up...not beacu-up. That would be weird.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so nice. Love the colors together. Now those wrestlers that keep popping up.....are you holding an secrets from us.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking of taking the chandie to the seashore this summer. Your beautiful tablescape just gave me the inspiration to get going!

Gina, Everything about your table is awesome. From the placemants, shell plates, napkin rings and flatware. I love it all. These are some of my favorite colors.
ReplyDeleteI hate to day my favorite parts of this table are the action figures. Reminds of my (5) sweet grands. The youngest is nineteen and I miss finding action figures everywhere. Even in the icemaker.
Love to you and the children, Happy Summer, Ginger
Looks beautiful! I love the aqua and white...such a beachy feel too with your other decor.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be at a beach right now!

I never saw those glasses at CTS, they would have hopped in my basket! And that polka dot flatware is great!
Lol on the wrestlers!
My son and dil had their 5 th child today. So now I have 4 little real life wrestlers and a princess!
Lovely cool table....love the wrestlers...lol....we used to have teenage mutant ninja turles on our table, in our beds, in the car, in the bathtub, and my personal favorite.....hanging from the dining room chandy!!! Miss those days.....stay cool!!!
ReplyDeleteGina, what a great table! Those placemats are so perfect for anytime. I love the shells plates, too, and oh, the bubble glasses are sooo pretty!! My favorite decor of all are the pesky wrestlers. No table would be complete without those visitors!!!
ReplyDeleteYou make the cutest table settings!
ReplyDeleteI really like the color scheme =)
Hope those guys don't eat too much, they look pretty hungry!
I just love your beautiful table...and the colors are sooo summery. I wish my entire house was done in this seashore blue green color. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi Gina, your tablescape looks so cool and refreshing. Hope you get some relief from the heat soon.

Gina, Your tablescape is beachy loveliness! I like how the pesky wrestlers are keeping it real. :-)
ReplyDeleteGina, love your tablescape, perhaps my favourite yet! Such lovely accessories, you have such a good eye for this.
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to think the wrestlers are yours!
Hope you make it to the beach soon!
Your tablescape is gorgeous!!! I love EVERY beautiful element! The placemats are so unique!
ReplyDeleteAnd the little wrestlers made me smile, ...it seems only yesterday I had them floating around my house ...everywhere, too! ha! My son outgrew them, but still has them, stashed away in the back of his closet ...won't give them up completely! :) Now we have basketballs and basketball trading cards everywhere! It's all just precious, isn't it??? :)
I'm guessing that the wrestlers either really like your food or they are anxious to be the first to see your fun table! The colors here are beautiful, Gina!!! The blue in the shell plates is so soft. Great find on the napkin rings!!! Wow...that was REALLY good! I hope more temperate weather finds its way to you soon. We're expecting triple digits tomorrow! :-(
ReplyDeleteHow strange Gina I was just thinking about you yesterday and then found you on my site this morning.
ReplyDeleteThat seems to happen a lot out here in blog land.
I love love this table setting. it is beautiful.
Those wrestlers show up like my cats when I am trying to take pictures. lol

ReplyDeleteI am sorry but what or where is CTS?
ReplyDeleteCharity, I didn't have an email address to contact you, but CTS is Christmas Tree Shops. They are a large retail chain that sells all kinds of items (housewares & novelties, etc.) Their prices are very reasonable.
