At the Seashore Tablescape

School is officially out for Summer!  To say that my children & I are ready to
dance in the streets, scream from the mountaintops, and
just run amok in general is a huge understatement!

Kathleen at Cuisine Kathleen came up with a beach theme
for her Let's Dish party this week.
Her timing couldn't be any better.
After all, it's been 95 degrees and crazy humid for the past 2 days.
A beach trip sounds great right about now.
(well at least the water part does)

I give you my themed tablescape:

Placemats from Home Goods
Aqua dinner plates from TJ Maxx
My everyday Corelle white luncheon plates
Shell plates from CTS

I found these napkin rings at TJ Maxx late last Summer.
They were on clearance, 4 for $1.50!
Bubble glasses from CTS

Aqua polka dotted flatware from Home Goods
Beige flatware from CTS

I added several items to my Waverly tablerunner for a
centerpiece display.
The bowl in the center came from CTS.

All items here are from Michaels.
The blue glittered starfish was an Etsy
purchase a few years back.

If you read my blog from time to time, you often see that
I have unexpected guests...

Yeah, those pesky wrestlers showed up just as I was ready
 to start taking photos!

  18. Gina, Everything about your table is awesome. From the placemants, shell plates, napkin rings and flatware. I love it all. These are some of my favorite colors.
I hate to day my favorite parts of this table are the action figures. Reminds of my (5) sweet grands. The youngest is nineteen and I miss finding action figures everywhere. Even in the icemaker.
Love to you and the children, Happy Summer, Ginger

And the little wrestlers made me smile, ...it seems only yesterday I had them floating around my house ...everywhere, too! ha! My son outgrew them, but still has them, stashed away in the back of his closet ...won't give them up completely! :) Now we have basketballs and basketball trading cards everywhere! It's all just precious, isn't it??? :)

  31. I'm guessing that the wrestlers either really like your food or they are anxious to be the first to see your fun table! The colors here are beautiful, Gina!!! The blue in the shell plates is so soft. Great find on the napkin rings!!! Wow...that was REALLY good! I hope more temperate weather finds its way to you soon. We're expecting triple digits tomorrow! :-(

  43. I am sorry but what or where is CTS?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Charity, I didn't have an email address to contact you, but CTS is Christmas Tree Shops. They are a large retail chain that sells all kinds of items (housewares & novelties, etc.) Their prices are very reasonable.
