The Tile is Done and One Thing Leads to Another

And now the moment you've all been waiting for!

You have no idea what I'm talking about,  do you?

Do you remember my post titled, Me & My Big Ideas? 

You can look here or perhaps I know this will refresh your memory:

Yeah that.  Good times.  Good times. 

 My husband & I knew we were in over our heads on this one.

Luckily, my husband has a friend willing to help

just do the whole thing himself.

Anyway, we needed to dig even deeper.

Thankfully, there was no jackhammer involved this time!

However,

here's an idea of how deep this thing ended up:

Crazy with a capital C!

Well, after lots of sweat (trust me, it was over 90 degrees and

we don't have central a/c)

and a few hundred bucks,

we now have this:

I think I hear a choir singing!

In all honesty, I don't think we really could have done

this project ourselves. 

If you've ever worked in an old house, you know....

Old house = everything is crooked.

Everything is crooked = one big headache!

When done messing around with a  rag garland, please remember

to sweep up the loose fibers before taking pictures.

The new tile has made that part look really bad now.
