Hello friends!
Forgive me for having disappeared from blogland,
yet again,
but honestly, I was at a loss for something to post about.
Thanksgiving is upon us
and though I'm chomping at the bit to decorate for Christmas,
I'm trying to hold out until the day after Thanksgiving to decorate.
That has always been my tradition,
and as much as I'm being prodded by the blog world to decorate now,
I'm shakily holding my ground.
This past Spring, sweet Stacey @ Poofing the Pillows had a giveaway.
I was the lucky winner of that giveaway.
What did I win?
A subscription to The Cottage Journal magazine!
I have to say girls, I really did enjoy this subscription.
It's just 5 issues, but it's been 5 wonderful issues.
Here is the latest Christmas issue:
So much to see! So much to love!
In the spirit of thankfulness that comes with Thanksgiving,
I have decided to give a subscription to one of you!
No jumping through hoops to enter,
(I'd love it if you followed me, but it isn't necessary)
Just please leave me a comment if you'd like to be entered.
If you are a no-reply blogger,
please make sure I have an email address to reach you
should you be the winner.
And that's it friends.
I will draw a winner sometime Thanksgiving weekend.
Good luck!
Oh migosh, yes yes please please please enter me. This is one of my favorite magazines and I would be incredibly THANKFUL to win this.
ReplyDeleteWhat a truly generous giveaway, Gina - wow. I understand about holding off for decorating, not easy is it? Esp with all this wonderful snowfall!
Hi Gina! Oh, I totally agree about decorating for Christmas. Our traditions is to start after the Thanksgiving dishes are done! I would love for you to enter my tiny name. Thank you so much for popping in to see me.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia;)
My sister gave me a subscription for my birthday last year and I have LOVED it!! IT is truly artwork! I would love to enter, of course! We always wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate as well, although I craft and shop long before that! It holds me over! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that magazine! I've been waiting for that issue to go on the newstands!!! I follow your blog Gina and I'm happy to see that you are blogging again. Please enter my name . I would love to win......
ReplyDeleteHi Gina,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway! I've seen that magazine and it is a beauty.
I wait to decorate until after Thanksgiving, too. I enjoy Fall too much!
Thank you for your visit, Gina. Somehow your comments never appear in my email, so I can't respond to them, but I do see them in my comments area.
Well, I won't sign up. I just did the same giveaway on my blog, Gina, because someone sent me a magazine a while ago. I just love it. Good luck to everyone!!!! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you liked it. I absolutely love it too. Every issue is a treasure and the fact that it's not full of ads is a bonus. Don't enter me because I do have a subscription. :)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I'm holding off on Christmas too.
OOO, I would LOVE to win this subscription....such a generous giveaway....
ReplyDeleteI, too, ALWAYS wait until the day after Thanksgiving to put my tree up and other decorations. I can hardly wait...I have a new wreath that I won at a school auction and I love it. Always look forward to seeing how you decorate.
xoxo
Please enter me in. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love a good magazine.
M : )
Oh, yes, please enter me in the drawing. I also wait until TG is over before bringing out the decor.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this subscription. I refuse to decorate until the day after Thanksgiving. I want to enjoy each holiday as it comes. Thank you for this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI would Love to win. I always wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate. Debra chedeb5353@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteHi Gina..
ReplyDeleteYou are a girl, after my own heart:) I am trying to hold off on Christmas decorating as well.
Our traditional day for putting up the tree, is also the day after Thanksgiving.
Although, when I worked full time, a sweet friend gave me some great advice. She told me to start decorating by the first of November.... just a bit at a time, and then by the day after Thanksgiving, it will be done.
It was nice, and I tackled the decorating in small tasks, a bit at a time :)
Love Cottage Journal... it helps fill a gap left, when Cottage Living stopped being published :)
Have a great week.
Smiles :)
Kerin
I would love to win that magazine but if you think you'd have to send it overseas with all the bothersome (and expenses) it represents (specially in someone who's eager to start decorating for Christmas ;) ahahah really?! the more I see around the internet the less appealing it looks for me - though I enjoy the inspiration) I think it is unfair to enter the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteSo I won't.
Just stopped by to send a hug and wish you're having fun preparing for Thanksgiving.
Take Care,
Teresa
Hello beautiful Gina!
ReplyDeleteI am just popping in with a hug, a prayer, and wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Since I won an amazing gift from you a couple years back, I will eliminate myself from the drawing and wish all who entered great luck and Happy Thanksgiving to too!

Gina, I would love the chance to win! I love seeing all the seasonal inspiration! Thanks so much for this great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteYes, please, enter my name for this great magazine subscription...
ReplyDeleteYes please, enter me too! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYes please enter me, Gina.
ReplyDeleteGina, glad that you are back! Don't include me int the give away. I have a friend that has gifted me a subscription for two years now. I love it also. Even though I am not hosting Thanksgiving this year I am holding off on decorating for Christmas upstairs. Although I decided that I would just start doing a little each day in the basement. I've only worked on it for a few hours for two days, but it's been fun!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
WTG! Definitely put me in please! I don't think I've ever seen that magazine here in Baltimore.. Now, I just want to get my greedy little hands on one right now! : )
ReplyDeleteI am with you... the need to decorate is driving me crazy but I am gonna wait until after we slice the turkey! : )
It's so difficult for me to "do" Christmas before Thanksgiving so you have company out here! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't been in blog land much either and I have missed you! Hopefully, I'll get better about it soon.
Would love to be entered in the giveaway ~ looks and sounds like a great magazine!
